A boutique staffing agency ready to grow

Prosper HQ is a boutique staffing agency led by an a team with 20 years of experience in staffing for tech and construction roles. The recruiters work directly with hiring clients to source, vet, and submit candidates for open roles in a high-touch, relationship-driven business where submission volume directly correlates to revenue.

The Problem

A manual workflow with a hard ceiling on growth

A deeper investigation into Prosper's staffing workflow revealed that every candidate placement followed the same time-intensive five-step process, entirely by hand.

A set of requirements arrives from a client, often as messy notes, emails, or bullet points.

Parse

The recruiter manually identifies key qualifications, location constraints, and role parameters.

Construct

A Boolean search string is built manually, which takes 15 to 20 minutes per search.

Evaluate

Candidate profiles are reviewed one by one against the requirements.

The Approach

A three-site platform, built by one designer

As a product team of one, owning research, experience design, and engineering, I built a production-grade platform in approximately six weeks by leveraging AI-augmented workflows at every stage of the process.

By removing the manual bottlenecks in the recruiter's workflow, submissions went from two per week to over four per day, roughly a 10x increase in candidate throughput. The platform restructured how the business operates, beyond simply modernizing the landing site.
